hi everyone Im new to the forum. I am on vacation in northern wisconsin and was using the798ci hd si for my trip all was working fine and then unit turned of and now I get a boot error called "matrix series boot version 4.540 oct 15 2010" and it gives me options 0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,z basically a system test but I cant get it past this screen "black screen green text. someone please help!! thanks a ton. ive attached a photo of what the screen looks like.

You can check for loose power connections or even a weak battery, but other than that if you have access to a computer with an SD card reader and a good SD card, than you could try downloading the current version of software and try using the Program option to load it into the unit.
Otherwise you can try calling the Humminbird Customer Resource folks at 1-800-633-1468 and see about getting your unit fixed.
