The chart options that are not in my menu are depth off set and depth range. ther are a couple of others  but those are the ones I was looking for. They are on my 958 but not my 997

Have you got a buddy close by with a head unit to put your chip in. 997,998,1197,1198
You need to determine weather it is the card or the head.   Gary

What version software do you have installed on your 997?  If it hasnt been updated, you probably do not have the new Menu options for the Lakemaster Charts.

I've got a 997csi and use the lake master chip.  The maps take forever to "paint" when changing views or zooming in and out.  Is there anything I can do about this other than upgrade to a newer model?  I've got the most current software loaded.

You will need to go to a newer model unit the processor on the 997 struggles
to do the job . My 1198 flys thru Lake Master Charts

That's what I figured.  at two grand a pop, upgrading every other year is a no brainer... LOL!
