Files extracted from Humviewer 3.031.exe
« on: January 17, 2010, 11:23:30 AM »

I've downloaded the Humviewer.exe from the Humviewer site into Start/Documents/User/Downloads ....

I've ran the Humviewer.exe to extract the Humviewer files onto my Desktop...

There are now 6 new things on my desktop....
1. a readme (text document)
2. runhumviewer (Windows command line prompt)
3. log (file folder)
4. jar (file folder)
5. ext (file folder)
6. config (file folder)

I've created a folder on my Desktop to organize all my HB stuff...simply called Hummingbird...

In this folder I've created a separate folder for Humviewer....

2 questions now...
  a. Should all 6 items from above be placed into the same folder that I have created called Humviewer in order for the program to work correctly?
  b. Should the Humviewer.exe zip file also be placed into this same Humviewer folder in order for the program to work correctly?

Yes, the items should be placed in the folder in the same structure as they were extracted from the HumViewer.exe zip file.
No, you do not need the HumViewer.exe zip file. Just run the runHumViewer.cmd file and the HumViewer program should startup.

Thanks Martin,

I just got my 1197 and I'm trying to get all my stuff organized for when I can actually play with your program with some recordings.....

The Program does launch from the runhumviewer.cmd but of course I have no recordings yet to view.......

Do you know if I can make recordings from the 1197 Simulator feature so that I can view them with your Humviewer program...??

Yes, you should be able to make recordings from simulator mode.
