Title: Looking for 6.490 for 798ci HD SI

I was wondering if anyone knew where I could find this update.

I've looked through the Downloader, and I can't find 6.490 for the 798ci HD SI

There is no 6.49 for the 798. That is a software program for the 898. I used 6.25 that I got from an email from Greg and it is very comparable to my 898 with 6.49.

Oh, Ok.  I wasn't aware.  Thanks for the info.  My unit currently has 6.300 from the factory.

There is a newer update available, but the 6.3 gives you all the newest features (minus Ipilot link or 360 linkability). Sooooo, IMHO you do not need to update unless you are adding one of those two.

Check your model and software version again.  There was no 6.300 software for the 798ci HD Si units.

There was a 6.300 software for the 798ci Si (no “HD” in the model name) and it was the last software update released for that model.
