Title: Screen Capture on external device with 899

I recently read on another site how someone was able to connect a tablet via usb-comlink on the 899. He did not go in to very much detail but said he bought a cable to go from the unit to his tablet. He then said he did some internal modifications to get the video to feed out the com port through the usb. He said that by using the tablet he has more freedom to view from anywhere on the boat.
I was wondering if there was a way to do this that may be easy and that would not void the warranty on a new unit. If anyone knows how to do this it would be great to post the info for others.

I don’t know how he did this but any “internal modifications” would definitely void the factory warranty.
