Title: Non Mega 360 vs 360 Mega
Post by: Swann on May 23, 2023, 02:06:16 PM
Ok, so I came across a 360 Non Mega Transducer thatz missing an inner housing bracket whereby I can make something that will work well enuff myself But My question is this :
Upon downloading a Non-Mega 360 Manual, I noticed that it works w/a 455khz Frequency & IF Mega implies 1200khz - then is there a Non-Mega Model that was in production by HB at some point in time that utilizes the 800khz as a Non-Mega 360? What part of the picture am I missing here? Thanks, Swann

No sir  ... only the original at 455kHz and MEGA at 1200kHz  ...

Now, I think it is possible to change the MEGA 360 frequency to 800kHz when the MEGA 360 is in SI mode  ... I think  ...

Maybe someone can verify before I get back on the water  ...

The biggest tip I can give with the original 360 is to have the boat as stationary as possible to get the best picture.  Then move a little and stop again  ...
