Hi all I have a 798 on the way for my dad. heg knows nothing about computers like most dads. do you think he can handle it with some practice. He is a walleye guide in Canada. and is always looking for structure   and I thought the side scan would be great.

beachcomber,

Welcome to the forum.  Yeah, I tell you, all these old timers on here barely know how to use the microwave, much less a computer! ;D ;D  Just kidding guys! ::) ::)

He doesn't have to do anything really on the computer but it certainly helps.  If he knows how to get on the net, have him stop in here and we'll get him going in the right direction.

I am sure with a little help he will be up to speed and teaching you a thing or two after a while!

Have your dad register here.  Forums are not too hard of a pc work.  There is so much information here he will find any thing he wants.  Even pictures of fish.   ;D  the folks here are very good with imparting knowledge.  Makes the new user very easy to become the experienced user.
