xnt 9 hdsi 180 t transducer clicking noise
« on: July 31, 2014, 03:31:40 PM »
I just hooked up my brand new xnt 9 hdsi transducer to my 8th and powered the unit on. I can hear ticking noises coming from the transducer.  Is this normal? I'm new to these higher end transducer and I am unfamiliar if these noises are common.

It's varying the power transmit looking for the lake bottom...

Using the Simulator when the unit is out of the water is the best way to learn the unit and it's features...

The Simulator turns off the sonar channel transmitters to the xducer...
