Title: What's the best version to use for PC

This will be my first time using it. Should I use the new version that is in my profile or should I use an older one? I have heard that one of the older ones is better than the new one.

What I'm looking to do is bootstrap my 997.I have all the cables coming Wednesday.

When you do take all your sd cards maps etc. out unhook everything but the power supply cord
to the head unit.  Gary
