ONIX 8 SI depth reading in high speed
« on: July 17, 2015, 07:01:49 PM »
I have problem using my original transducer to get normal depth readings with high speed.
but if I look on sonar screen then this screen shows almost correct depth (10-15 feet) (but depth numbers are shown 1000+feet).

also I have old 2D  transducer from Lowrance but as I understand I cant use it with Humminbird?

See this ...

http://www.bassboathq.com/how-to-convert-lowrance-to-humminbird-shoot-thru-hull-transducer-for-high-speed-2d-sonar-1037/

To use this on Onix ... You would also need the AD1429 adapter because Onix is 14 pin and that Motorguide adapter is the #9 connector...

If you are going to use a "shoot thru" along with the Onix "All in One" xducer you will also need the AS 14 SIDB Y cable ...
