Title: Firmware downloads

I updated my 1198 from v6.42 to v6.640 and my 998 from 6.42 to 6.680

I cant get image quality anywhere near what I had, so I am going to go back to 6.49

I went to the DL section and tried to DL 6.49 in the 1198 section but it stops everytime after about 11mb. It says on the page the file size is 27mb I believe.

Any Idea why its not finishing the DL?

If it still does not work, it may be a corrupted download file.

I would also suggest fully formatting the card...

I didnt see a v6.49 for the 998c si is there a version that I should roll back to ( pre-link/360)
I had 6.42 before this last update.

There have been a few reports that the downloads from this web site stopped before completion. Has anyone else had any problems or even tried them?
