HumViewer and Google Earth
« on: August 17, 2009, 06:38:16 AM »
I'm trying to go to google earth from the humviewer menu and it will not open.  It will go to google earth but then it just stops at the opening page.  I tested my other programs to see if they would access google earth and they did.  Any suggestions?

robert may have more on this, but check your level of Humviewer.  I am at 3.031 and Google works fine.  Chuck

I open in Google from the tool bar.  I think the export is to something like excel or another program.   Did you try the tool selection to Google?   chuck

OK, I did an export to a file on my hard drive.  I then went to the hard drive file and clicked on the saved file.  Google Earth opened the file ok.   I did this several times and it worked allright..  I am using windows XP SP3. not sure I am of any help at this point as it works here.  Maybe some other computer person may know of what to do.  Chuck

I can open it from the exported file (Klm file).  It will not open if I try to open it from the menu bar inside the program with a loaded file running containing waypoints.  When I try to open it from the program it goes to google earth but it freezes up at the preview window (Helps and hint window).  I may try to upgrade to 5.0 to see if this helps.  I dont think I'm running this version now.
