there are 2 places to select readouts. Xpress menu or setup.

There are two readout selections Readouts or Nav readouts.

Make sure you have set what you want in both places.

Some display items can't be altered on some screens.  Like Depth is always in the upper left (On almost all of the different screens/views).  You can put depth in any of the other places too but can't remove it from the upper left (if I remember correctly).

I just briefly looked at the 798 pdf and didn't see much on this in it.  The 898 manual has a ton of info of what you can can't do.  I can't remember what is applicable to the 898 is also applicable to the 798.

898

Yep...it can be confusing.  Can you imagine the salesperson trying to keep up with all of this for the guy who does ask questions.. ::)
I guess we need to start a library on our computers and put  in all of the manuals.. ;D
good reading on a rainy day...

I have both the 798 and 898 pdf manuals on my smart phone so when I am stupid at the lake I can pull up the manual and get re-educated.  lol
