Iam having alot of problems with my 997 NVB picking up a signal. What is going on with this? This unit has 466hrs of use on it. This is the 6th time it has done this.

Where is the antenna mounted?  Could something be obstructing the signal?  Did something change in your boat to cause an obstruction...?

Its mounted on the rear of my boat. I can tap on it sometimes and it will work fine. Its been a problem ever since I have bought unit. I like the unit alot, just wish GPS worked the times i find structure to fish----want to mark them.
