Folks,
I understand that the AS GRHA is accurate to 1 meter,
and that the AS GPS HS is accurate to 2.5 meters.
I am currently using the GRHA.
I also understand, that if I get a 360, I may HAVE to use the HS,
but that is not written in stone yet. Probably, no one knows yet, what the
360 will do if it's hooked to a GRHA.
I haven't gotten a 360 yet, and I want to keep my GRHA.
It might work with the 360. I am most certainly going
to try it.
Let's say, I do have to switch over to the HS puck.
In real world use (Navigating, Marking Waypoints), will
the reduced actual (if any), gps accuracy matter that much?
What advantages/disadvantages would I get with switching.

I think the 360 needs the heading sensor info to accurately place waypoints on the 360 image...
Greg can probably tell us if there are other requirements needed from the AS GPS HS antenna for the 360 to operate correctly...

That's the only one that I know of Rickie. It has to know what direction everything is so it can show the data in the correct area of the unit's display.

Well this raises an interesting question...especially maybe for someone like ITGEEK...interested in the 360...
Can the AS GRHA work on the 360 ...but just not be able to mark accurate waypoints in the 360 view...??
Meaning... when the 360 is set to SI/DI (no spinning beams)...would the AS GRHA be accurate at waypoint marking...??
Hmmmm...

So Rickie, when are you going to become a software/hardware engineer over at HB? ;D
