Just bought 2 999ci's and wanted to introduce myself. Sorry if I posted this in the wrong place.  Finally jump the boat and upgraded to these units from an old Lowrance 522.

I do have a question about the installation. Can can network both these devices and have them both connected each to their own transducer?

Welcome MasterChief ...

Yes the 999's will Ethernet and still be able to be connected to their own xducer ...

The 999's can share waypoints, GPS receivers, Sonar data, Imaging data, Temperature data ...

They will not share mapping ...

You will need 1 AS EC QDE adapter cables for each 999 (2 total) ...
http://www.humminbird.com/Products/AS-EC-QDE/

And you will need an AS EC xxE (where xx is the length of Ethernet cable between units) ...

Here is some info on network sharing ...

Thanks for the information!

I also have the bluetooth dongle and remotes.  Do you guys know if one remote can operate both of them separately or do I have to NOT connect one?  I have a pair of bluetooth dongles and remotes.  Thanks in advance.

AS RC1 | Radar and Wireless | 409480-1

Make your Humminbird unit wireless capable with this easy to install dongle, just plug it into your unit and pair it with your Humminbird Bluetooth® remote for quick, convenient control of your most used functions.

Take wireless control of your Humminbird.  The wireless remote lets you mark waypoints on the fly, zoom in and out, adjust sonar sensitivity and toggle through your favorite custom views.  Each key has a short press and long press function, enabling you to customize the remote's capabilities to reflect your fishing style.  For instance, a long press of the Mark button can be programmed to power your unit on or off, deploy your 360 imaging transducer or even create an i-Pilot Link Spot-Lock.

Everything's visible and controllable from anywhere on the boat, so you don't have to stop fishing to control your Humminbird.

Purchase of the AS GPS NMEA cable is required for use with our ONIX Series of products.

Purchase of the AD RC1 ION adapter cable is required for use with our ION Series of products.

This product supports one Humminbird unit only.

I would assume the above (in blue) would mean each dongle is programmed for its own specific remote controller ... Therefore each remote should work independently ...

Humminbird CRC could tell you for sure ... 1-800-633-1468
