HumViewer Sub Recording Help
« on: April 24, 2012, 10:06:33 AM »
I want to make a "sub recording" of a portion of a saved recording in Humviewer.
What are the steps I should follow to make it happen.  I'm not having much luck
trying to "cut" or "trim" away the portion I don't want to keep.   :-\  Fay

Hmmmm...good question...dont know if HV has a feature to trim down a recording.
When we want a portion we use Deepview and that programs segmented displays and then we select the segment we want..\\

Could be Chuck.  I thought maybe that was what a "sub recording" was meant to do.

OK, I tried the sub recording but on playback it only had the left 455 when selecting si. could not find a selection for both left and right...
But it did make a recording.
I selected a start time and an end time and it did make a sub recording. Just not all of the left and right..
Maybe Martin never finished this...

I've been playing with it more Chuck, and by putting in a start time and finish time in the
"time (in rec.)" I can save just the portion of the recording I want.  later - Fay

I tried another sub recording with another file and this one gave me the down looking but no si screens.

I am thinking a bug in the HV 6.7
