Title: Solix or Helix

Looking to buy one or the other. Main use will be finding brush piles and marking them for crappie fishing. Price isn't really the issue but do not want to buy more than needed, with that if the imaging and marking is better on the Solix that would be my preference.

The biggest differences would be that SOLIX adds touch, is more customizable, and SOLIX to SOLIX network can share a single mapping card  ...

can it share any map card like navionics with an ac card in and mapping ?

I would think SOLIX would share whichever map card is being displayed  ... Regardless if AutoChart Live data was being overlayed onto it  ....

The map card is the chosen base layer - it should be shared by SOLIX to SOLIX  ...

The AutoChart Live is overlay - it will not share  ... but only be seen on the unit physically creating AutoChart Live data  ...
