Title: AS 360 SSI transom mount convert to DIY trolling motor mount

Can AS 360 SSI transom mount unit convert to DIY trolling motor mount or fixed simple pole at the bow? I mean ditch the extend-retract system and use remaining transducer pole only. Is it doable? Thanks in advance.

if someone was to give one to me i would do it !
i will install a pole style transducer holder at bow at some point all the while with a 360 of some kind as the main ducer .
i have an old jonhson troll motor braket that should be a good pole holder .
