I would like someone to walk me through the digital files that the Humminbird writes. I converted HWR files Ok but need the actual tracks. I have HT and HWR files and want to display tracks in my SAR software. The files are binary (I see that with a hex-dump program) and do not conform to the docmentation I have from GPSBabel programmers. The HT files look like tracks increments but with no lat-longs. So they probably cannot be used by themselves. I want to set up a SOP (standard operating procedure) for our searchers to send me tracks so we can make sure of no duplication in active searhes.
