Hi guys
I am getting this message on my Hummingbird 798ci hd, this happens when I select the go to function, ( No more waypoints can be saved. Out of waypoint memory ).
I only have 30 waypoints saved, I have deleted all my routes and tracks, I also deleted some waypoints, I have tried a factory default reset. I have backed up all my waypoints but it did not remove them. Does anyone have any ideas about this.
Regards
Gerhard

Check under the Accessories tab and make sure “Screenshots” is turned off ...
Then test saving a waypoint and report back here ...

*Export the entire waypoint library to an SD Card ...
*Go under the Setup tab and down to Format Nav Directories ... this will clean the waypoint library ...
*Also Restore Defaults while under the Setup tab ...
*Then test saving a waypoint ...
If the issue is resolved - there is a corrupt waypoint in your list causing gremlins and must be investigated in the Humminbird PC software (available for free from the Humminbird website) ...
Please report back with your findings ...

Thanks Rickie
Did what you suggested and it fixed it that was until after I figured out that I needed to turn on advanced functionality in the set up. Lol
Thanks all

There is most likely a corrupt waypoint in your list ...
Download the free Humminbird PC software from the Humminbird website and load your waypoint data into the program ...
Look for waypoints with weird dates ... weird latitude or longitude numbers ... or special characters in the waypoint name ...
