Transducer Mounting location for DI
« on: April 14, 2013, 10:41:50 PM »
Hello Everyone. I just purchased a boat and had the dealer install my 858c HD DI unit. Upon reviewing the transducer, it looks way to far starboard. Is this a good location? Will this affect the down imaging?

Being so far starboard will not affect the DI sonar but since it is also higher up in the water it may affect the units ability to give depth readings while at faster boat speeds.
