Sticky buttons
« on: December 02, 2019, 06:36:50 PM »
Anyone have an easy fix for sticky buttons?  My 998 always has one or two, not always the same ones, but it always seems to be the one I need to work only when it doesn't...

Sometimes a sticky button can be attributed to the button pad being out of alignment with the button holes of the plastic bezel  ...

The faceplate would need to be removed to align the button pad  ...

Thanks,  I guess I should clarify that they don't actually stick, they just don't work when you push them.  Sometimes I push it 3 dozen more times and it starts to respond.

With my 998, I sometimes have a problem with the power button but the rest of the buttons are ok.  When powering down, sometimes have to press just the edge of the button.

A non-responsive button can also be attributed to 1 of the other buttons being stuck in the "contacted" state under the bezel  ...
