Can these be made permanent? (788 combo.)Every time I power up, they have to be redone.

When you program the head in normal mode they will be permanent. Gary

Are you displaying a screen, then pressing the
pre-set button(s) until you hear a noise, like a bling?

You have to hold them in about 3 seconds
for them to get permanently set.
