Humminbird Helix Ethernet cable
« on: October 28, 2021, 10:10:58 AM »
Hello guys

Does any one knows if the ethernet cable AS EC 10E from humminbird is a straigth through or a crossover LAN cable?

Or if someone has a AS EC ..E cable at home and a multimeter, willing to measure if the pinouts of the connector on one end are exactly the same as the other end.
That would be really helpfull and appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Multimeter Ohm tests as straight thru each individual pin/channel ...

I’m curious as to the application that you may be using this info ??

Thanks for your help.
The intention is to make a wireless connection from my Helix unit to my PC. I want to build an autonomous boat and have all the sonar data available on my PC.
