Title: si splitter cable

hi
if i am running 2 si transducers and a splitter cable for left and right how will this effect my 2d readings? which transducer will be getting used or will both?

I expect this will be the same as on my 997. Port transducer is Si only and starboard is Si, 2D and temperature. All functions seem to work fine with this setup, although there does seem to be a 'some transducers work better than others' effect. My port one is much clearer at depths over 160 feet and picks up targets at up to 220 feet, whereas the port one is very dark over 150 feet. (Can't complain as it isn't supposed to work at those depths anyway!)

Someone else asked the question and we had the guru himself "Humminbird Greg" to answer it for us!
