Title: Helix 7 chirp,mega,si gps Gen3 clarity issues

Hi, I did a search and could not find the issue that I am having.  I have a Helix 7 chirp,mega,si gps Gen3. I am having a clarity issue. I purchased this unit new a couple of years ago and have not spent a lot of time on the water using it as much as I planned. When I first received the unit, it was defective and I had to send it back for repairs. It has worked ok but has never had the clarity as my previous brand.  I have watched all the videos on how to properly adjust your Humminbird but still no luck. I was out a few days ago and it went completely stupid. The screen was a complete mess. I worked with the contrast and sensitivity, but no luck, so I reset it to factory defaults. It would start out working somewhat ok, then cloud the entire image as shown in the attachment's.

Try 455kHz  ...

If it clears up, the water is full plankton  ...

If it doesn’t clear up, call HB because something is not right  ...
