Title: ethernet cable wont fit in base

I purchased the Ethernet adaptor for 798hd model but the cable wont fit in the base collector  >:(
Has anyone come up with a way to adapt this to work with the NEW Ethernet adaptor cable ?

my old base has the msm700 base mount but now I think I need the ms700E  base mount
...........no one around here stocks thems700E  base or collector MBCC700E
 you think they would tell you that one will have to replace the collector as well   as HB must  already know it wont fit!
frustrated  if anyone has any other ideas??
ps I can get the collector off the  internet for about 20$ but 40 to ship up here to Canada

What happened to the connector collector and mounting base that came with the 798ci HD Si unit Dave?

All you need is the MBCC 700E connector collector.  The mounting base is the same for Ethernet and non-Ethernet capable model 700 series units.
