The settings I have for the SI are the same for the 2d??  I run with the screen split with one half 2d and the other in SI. I know the water is at or around 30 degrees and I am not seeing any blips on the 2d. I figure the fish are locked on or around the bottom. I am just making sure that the reason I am not seeing fish on the 2d is because they are on the bottom. I also have the big/med fish alarm on and found a spot where the alarm sounded. How do I get the fish shapes to pop up on my 2d screen? By running the split screen it helps me figure out what I'm seeing on the SI view.
I found a sunken boat today and seen some fish. I have yet to get a memory card but plan to do that this weekend.
Also what size fish sets the big fish alarm off and what size sets the med fish alarm off. I'm trying to set it for 12-20 lb fish.
Also when I see a fish size bump on the bottom of the 2d and it has the soft bottom colors is that a fish or some type of junk? Any help with the 2d would be appreciated.
