Title: Learning My New Helix 7 indoors
Post by: ifishnc on January 25, 2020, 10:16:38 AM
Just bought a new Helix 7 and now it's winter. Too cold in the garage to play with it. Is there an AC to DC adapter that I can use (safely) so I can sit in my easy chair and play around with the unit to get familiar with it. Then I can have the manual sitting next to me to check out all the gizmos. I know the adapter would have to be 12 volts, but what about amps?  Any help would be appreciated.

You will also need another Humminbird power cable if you don’t want to rip the one out of the boat  ...
