Sioux Falls Humminbird seminar FEB 9

FYI,

There will be a hands on Humminbird seminar at Soo Sports Marine (7700 S Minnesota) in Sioux Falls SD
Dave Poort will be one of the presenters and he typically brings about 20 working units for the attendees to get the feel of the menu items.

The time is 5:30 pm.

How did the seminar go tonight?  Any picts or video?

The seminar went well. There ended up being about 60 people on 35 units.  It ran about 3 hours long, with the first hour and a half on the operation of the unit itself, with the second half dealing with Si setups and screencapture interpretation.

There was a mixture of people there, with about half of the crowd already owning Humminbird units, and the other half interested in purchasing units and wanting to learn more.  It was somewhat elementary for an advanced user, but overall, from the comments I heard  from the floks that I knew,  was that they all felt it was worth their time to attend.

There were some questions asked about  search and  rescue, and at least one person that was there  specifically for that reason.
