Title: Transfer waypoints help

I have my 998si on the bow hooked up thru my interlink tied to my 1198si. I have opened the interlink to transfer way points to my 1198 from the 998 but shows the unit locked and I can't transfer points over. Need some help please.

I would start by checking in the InterLink submenu to see if any of the waypoints are set as “Locked” or not.
 If that does not show them as locked I would try resetting the InterLink itself:

Question for you: why do you have these two units InterLinked?  They can both be Ethernet connected and should work better together that way.  They certainly could share waypoint information easier and would be able to share sonar data too.
