That is a vent hole – not a reset button

On some of the Humminbird units there are small holes in the front, bottom, top or back of the unit housings.  Depending on the model where they will be located.  These are for ventilation purposes only and are not in any way a reset button.  Poking something in there will rupture the ventilation patch and render your unit non-waterproof!

This has got to be the same group of people responsible for the "Do Not Take Orally" warning on the Preparation H ...
Does it let the smoke out ...... or just break the seal?

I've often wondered what the seal looks like in there to be IP7 water rated ...
