Hi Im Matt
 Im glad I found the forum. Theres a bunch I could learn about my 798 ci hd si unit.

First thing is. I want to take the unit off my old boat and put it on my new boat. How ever Im having a hard time trying to get the wires out of the mounting bracket. I do not want to wreck it and Im getting close to do so.
If anybody could lend a hand on how to remove the unit with out damage I would greatly appreciate it

Remove 2 phillips head screws, take off the the plastic plate then the steel plate & they should come right out.

Hey Matt and welcome to the Side Imaging Forums.

If the wires (cables) run under the unit mount and out the side; you may have to take the mount off of the boat first before the cables are free to be removed.
