6.740 update question
« on: October 21, 2013, 09:27:00 PM »
I just installed the 6.740 update.  In the simulation mode my screen goes blank when viewing with 83hz.  It works in 200hz and 83hz/200hz.  Any thoughts?  Thanks inadvance

I don’t have an 898 unit to try this on, but I did update a 998 unit with the 6.740 software and the 83kHz works fine in the Simulator mode.

Tried it on the water today and it seem to work just fine but if I have my SD card (with the update on it) all the screens are blank.  Once I take it out then all screens work.  Just really weird.  I will keep tinkering with it.

I had to check navionic but yes, there are Fish ID Symbols when the unit is set to display the 83kHz sonar.
