« Last post by Togue Troller on February 08, 2024, 01:33:01 PM »

Can someone explain why Humminbird Helix 8/9 G4N units do not show engine hours and or Total engine hours when connected to a NMEA 2000 engine through the backbone?
Thanks

ohcsi, I'm not referring to mega live just mega si and di imaging. The last I read about Humviewer is that it will not allow you to view mega si or mega di recordings.  Someone posted that you must move B004 to a folder so that humviewer cannot "see" it otherwise it will lock up.  So, you say that Humviewer will play your mega imaging recordings?

Thanks, Bayou Basser.

Helix Series Units / Networking Solix units

I now have a Solix 12 Gen 3, w/ Mega 360 at the bow. Can I network this Gen 3 unit w/a Gen 1 Solix 10 at the console w/o any problems? Another question is this, if I add Mega live to the bow, will I need more battery to run 10 n 12 Solix, Mega 360 and Mega live? Currently all my electronic are run off my starting battery (27m 1000 CCA). Thanks.

As mentioned at the other forum - look under the Accessories tab for “Share Waypoints”  ...

Hey Rickie sent an PM, maybe someone else can chime in... When I took the interlink out it had a choke or filter ahead of each unit where the GPS went in, should I dump those as now the each unit will have its own puck going directly to each unit?  Thanks

Solix / Can I switch out Control heads?

Just installed a Solix 12 MSI on the bow of my Skeeter. Now I have the opportunity to get a Solix 15 MSI (CHO). I know that both these units use the same transducer (XM14 HW MSI T,) my question is this.  If they do use the same transducer, can I just unhook the 12 and hook up the 15? All the wiring is the same, Yes?? All I need is a 2nd transducer for the other unit. All replies are very much appreciated.

I have not been on the forum site in a very long time and about to buy a Mega Imaging Unit.  I like to watch my recordings on my laptop. Is there an updated version of HumViewer which will allow you to watch your mega recordings?  If not is there another program that will allow you to?

Thanks, Bayou Basser
