Hey salius  :)

This is not a good place for the transducer, on the left side is the motor in the way.
SI scans up to 90 degree's to both sides.

yes true , but in this kind of boat ,i dont have choice
but i can say that im lucky cause the first time i dont have any thing from left side , and now i got the imaging working
i cant even change tronsducer for mounting it down the boat  (name in english ???) , there is no humminbird support in algeria right now and cost very expensive for us .

thanks

Kinda of a rock and a hard place.
If you mount on the right then the motor can get in the way of the left si..

These bigfoot hdsi transducers are very sensitive to the type of boat you have for mounting.
Look in the gallery for some of the pictures that folks have put in there with regards for mounting.

Hey salius  :)

I think, you must build a  ”simply” towfish, tex. a small catamaran with the transducer on the upside.

It's definitely the motor interfering with the scan.  I had the same problem (only not as bad).  In the interim you should trim the motor up as high as possible when scanning.  However, in the long term you migh want to install a jack plate or set back plate for the motor.  I'm no expert on this but you may also be able to install a second transducer on the port side of the boat.  Tow fish is also an option.

Check this forum in the gallery section.  look for the towfish in that section.
Or you can get a lot of other posts if you search towfish from the main menu.
Remember also when using a towfish, the gps position will be off by the amount of line you have towing the fish..
