How many defaults are on 997 si that need to be reset? And how many defalts will the 997si have?

Welcome to the forum! 

Basically ALL settings will be reset to factory default by going to the Setup Menu and Selecting Restore Defaults.   Whats important is to know what settings you have changed, so you can go back and set them back up the way you want that works best for you after you update.

There is no easy way to do this other than going through each one and making note of what setting its on before you restore the defaults.

This will explain how to reset the default settings and update your unit.
