Title: how to find waypoints in recorded video
Post by: Koen Vandecauter on July 04, 2011, 06:21:05 PM
When you mark a waypoint in SI while in record mode, the HB doesn’t make a snapshot so it is very difficult afterwards to link that waypoint to what you saw. Is there software that can find your waypoints in the recorded video? I tried Humviewer  but that doesn’t seem to have a waypoint finder. What about yellowfin, SIviewer or other software?

They all dont work with HB waypoints. My way actually is to export my waypoints from HB-PC to Google earth and my boat track from Humviewer to Google Earth. That way you'll have your track with the waypoint next to it. In Humviewer you'll at least see the gps track you moved so  you'll have an idea which part of the replay you have to look for.
