does anyone have any idea what device net the cables for the nmea200 engine data adapter is... (ie: what are the plug ends, low red?)  would be nice to know so i could get the engine interface kit for my outboard ordered prior to save my some time... its going on a etec

I would go to the specs on the device and see what it says.  Or if they have pictures..

Can't check specs Chuck there are none posted on HB website just coming in May... But by then it May be too late, early thaw this year.

Wow.  A problem with early announcements.  Big market ad but no user detail..
Wonder how we are supposed to plan ahead.
Unless someone in HB will release some techie stuff it is a wait and see.. :P

Well they got the install manual out, but still cannot find any info on what style of connector the network module plug is.... The product picture on he website doesn't show it as it is cropped on the left hand side

I can find out what the engineering prints show now but I won’t because that could change (as could anything) by the time they release the product for production.

I don’t know about the Humminbird Select program.  I know that it was not possible to offer it in all other countries due to the various laws and such.  I don’t know if this pertained to Canada or not.
