Hi.
I have just bought a new Helix 7 MSI GPS G4N unit. The only problem is I cannot find the view for side scan and down scan as a combination. all the other views are there and I've even tried it in demo mode. It's just not on the list. The attachments show the total list of views. Any ideas? I have emailed Humminbird, but still awaiting an answer.

Hi. Thanks for your help, but I’ve tried that and it’s just not listed as one of the views.

Well that’s interesting  ...

Try Restore Defaults under the Setup tab  ...

Then also under the Setup tab set “User Mode” to “Custom” (which shouldn’t have anything to do with your issue but it will set the unit to see all available menus)  ...

Thank you for your help, but I’ve been in contact with Humminbird technical and even they are scratching their heads.
I’ve been an owner of several Humminbird side scan units for over 10 years now, and I’ve tried all the reset tricks and settings you could think of. I thought I was going mad, but it looks like my unit left the factory with  faulty firmware.   
I’m just waiting now to see what they want to do about it. 
It’s a fab unit, and apart from this small problem, I’m very pleased with it.
So, thanks to all of you for your support.
