Traveling forward from a point once a route has been broken
« on: September 29, 2021, 04:08:50 PM »
When i create a route with several point I can travel it forward or reverse with no problem with my minkota which has iplot link. when that route is interupted such as a boat crossing or not moving from my path how do I get back to picking up the route minus the points i had to skip? There are options such as travel forward or reverse from a point, but when i pick a point to start that action nothing seems to happen. Am I selecting the point wrong? How does it show it when it is selected? I must be doing something out of sequence. I don't understand it.

Thanks for the information.  I did look at that page and p74.  I have tried it, but I can only go to the way point.  It won't  travel forward from a waypoint. So if you have the opportunity maybe you could try it on your humminbird on an existing route. Follow your route steer off of it and then try to pick it up again to finish your route. That's the sequence I'm having a problem with.

Are you seeing the options on Pg 74 of the reference manual?  I'm assuming you have cancelled navigation when route is interupted which would mean you would need to reinitiate navigation from the desired waypoint as indicated in the manual.  I don't use the Route function very often but once you move cursor to the desired waypoint in the route and hit GOTO, it should show the various options shown in the manual (pg74).  It needs to be a saved route and navigation must be on the graph that the route was saved on.  Might also need to check Prop Auto On setting to make sure it is set to ON before restarting the route.

Can you confirm which model TM?  The manual reference would be applicable to the Bluetooth MK TMs and graphs running compatible software.  I'm using a 2017 Ultrex Ipilot-Link model with Helix 9 G3Ns.
