999ci - Is transducer going bad or something else
« on: February 13, 2022, 07:28:51 PM »
The last two times I have taken the boat out the down and side imaging just looks horrible. Even the normal sonar is useless. I have the latest updates installed. I watched tutorial videos and have tried every setting I can with no luck. Even when I tried to use the simulator it didn't look as bad as the attached pics but it didn't look as good as it once did a few months ago. The attached pics are with the transducer setting in a bucket of water at the house. The good pic is what it used to look like. Any thoughts or suggestions on what I should check?

I did try that. Those pics are after restoring and verifying I had latest software updates

The next troubleshooting step would be to try your head unit on another xducer - or another xducer on your head unit  ...
