Title: 1197 & 997c SI depth or contour lines and offsets
Post by: Delta Bass Fool on May 25, 2019, 10:56:36 AM
I saw this video of a lakemaster maps on a 1198 graph that shows how to adjust the water depth contour lines with offsets in the settings so you can set and get accurate shades at specific depths for targeting specific fishing holes at desired depths.

Do the 997 and 1197 graphs have this offset feature built in and can they use the lakemaster graphs as used in this video for shading?

Those are features of the LakeMaster map card  ...

They are indeed available on my 1197 (just as Doug explains in that video)  ...

I have never had navionics or any mapping software.  Do you know if lakemaster covers the western states bodies of waters yet?

Ok never mind th3 last question.  I googled the question and ended up on Humminbird’s web sight.  They have a Lakemaster Plus Western States V1 and then they have a Lakemaster Western States V2 non plus which is slightly cheaper.  What is the difference between the plus and non plus Lakemaster mapping softwares?

Oh and I’m guessing the 1197c si and 997c si units are not compatible with the new I pilot trolling features are they?

LakeMaster Plus has the same contour data as LakeMaster but adds satellite overlay and pictures of marinas you will never visit  ...

997 has no ethernet capability (iLink is ethernet)  ...

1197 has ethernet capability but it's early Gen1 HB ethernet  ... Please call HB to verify iLink compatibility with 1197  ...
