Topic: Feet opposed to metres

hi, here in Australia i have grown up on using metres, hence the weird spelling,but i have read before & just had a chat about using feet instead of metres in my unit,can someone please explain to me the benefits of doings this, i think its somewhere on the lines of the increments of feet opposed to metres,if any one can make sense of what i`m on about it would be a great help.

A meter is  3+ feet. using feet is just breaking down the same depth into smaller increments. I would think that if you are used to one system you should stick with it for safetys sake. Happy Crankbaiting!!!!

A meter is 3.280 feet.  or as we round off 3.29 feet or 39 inches. 
I prefer the metric system....
