Title: time display
Post by: tjsmith on May 16, 2014, 07:58:39 AM
I have a 899 H B, took it out last week and got some great readings. I did notice the time was one hour behind my time hear in NC and was thinking it would correct its self via the GPS, that never happen. What do I need to do?

Welcome to the Humminbird Side Imaging Forums tjsmith.

Try looking at what the Daylight Saving Time menu is set to.
It’s under the Set-up menu tab.

Okay I will do that, I had just installed the unit and that was my first and only trip out. I have a lot to learn but the unit seems user friendly. I took great efforts installing the transducer and was very impressed with my readings. Thanks for your help, tjsmith

Let us be impressed too: post screen snapshots of what you are seeing on your 899ci HD Si unit.
