Title: Autochart Pro Satellite Image
Post by: _bernd_ on September 13, 2017, 01:39:47 AM
Hi all!
I have a big Problem with importing a Satellite Image:
Start creating the .png and .map file with SAS Planet, when i want to import the map file in ACP I got everytime the same error "The new area did not fit inside the current custom map".
How do I create a custom map in the area I want to insert the image? (The lake I am talking is Atlin Lake in Brisitsh Columbia)
I also tried some different areas - a Image on a Lake near Miami sometimes work, sometimes not. The images itself are for testing very small, so a too big image can not be the problem...
Next point (if that could be the problem), I am from Austria and just bought the Helix, Autochart Pro and Zeroline SD and didnt have any Sonar records from that area right now (my boat is in Atlin/BC and Im there every year for vaccation).

Here are all my settings:
Helix 7
Autochart Pro
Zeroline SD North America
More than enough memory in my Computer

What I want to do:

What can I do to solve the problem? Its so frustrating because I am working for hours with that problem and can not fix it. Hope you guys can help me!

Thanks, Bernd

sounds as though u may need to start map over see Camohunters help guide on erasing AC file and starting over...
you usually get that error if you have maps more than 1000 km apart or if you ran the test file when you set up your AC software
Ps I will try to find the link
