I noticed that the display on the sides there is water. how can I fix it?

That's a tough one.
I'd call Humminbird's customer service and ask their advise.
It may be a simple matter of loosening some screws and letting
the water out, but that may void your warranty. Also, you may
have a defective seal on the unit which probably needs replacing.
If your unit is under warranty, ask for a pre-paid address label,
if they want you to ship the unit to them.

Is the water actually under the lens (the clear glass area over the display) or is it to the sides of it? I ask because the lens is sealed to the front housing of the unit and there is a snap on bezel that fits over it that can have water in it that does not get to the actual inside of the unit.
If it is truly inside the unit there is nothing that you can really do for it except to send it into a service center to be fixed. Simply getting the water out will not fix it as you will not know how the water got into the unit to begin with and it will just leak in again.

It sounds very much like something that happened to my 997. I wasn't sure that it was water - it was a kind of bubbling effect at the edges of the glass, as if the screen itself was delaminating. I lived with it for a couple of years (it didn't really impede the display), and then finally (once my GPS, Transducer and power connections were all failing) I sent the whole unit back for the fixed price out-of-warranty repair. Can't fault the service for a 6-7 year old unit - I think when it came back the only original item left was the front of the case. It's a new machine!

actually yesterday I partato the unit to a repairman to show it, and he confirmed what you said and ciaoč that it is not water but liquid found in the unit and that these should be the subject after a while. I'm not under warranty you hamm it repaired under warranty? I can siegare what should I do? or should I use finquando does not die?how much it cost to bring the unit under warranty? my I have bought about quatteo years ago.
