Title: 360 mounting height question
Post by: Jimmy B on March 29, 2015, 10:20:43 AM
Mounting 360 to transom, install says to mount bottom of pod at 8" above bottom of boat, makes it 2" too  high to get into my garage. Would like to mount 6" above bottom of boat, anyone mount lower than the 8" recommended.

Other thought was to use Clovis pins instead of bolts the quick removal for storage ? Any thoughts appreciated.

I believe that the tilt bracket for the Talon shallow water anchor will work with the 360 Imaging.  Call the Humminbird Customer Service folks to be 100% sure though.

The Talon tilt bracket will work but humminbird also has a transom tilt bracket for the 360.  This is what I use and it works great.  I tilt it when I am trailering and when I get home I remove the 360 from the boat. here it is.  http://www.humminbird.com/Products/PORT-360-BKT/ (http://www.humminbird.com/Products/PORT-360-BKT/)

The talon tilt bracket works.  I use mine to get into the garage.
