restoring factory default question
« on: June 30, 2010, 09:29:51 PM »
When I restore factory defaults to update my unit, will it delete my waypoints when I do this? I have searched the forums and checked the FAQ and couldn't find the answer.

No, it will not delete your waypoints.  But it is always recommended to Export All Nav Data before performing any updates!  This will save all your waypoints and data to the SD card.

Good Luck,

Thanks Robert . Is it a good idea to use the same sd card to update with and to export all nav data to?
